Requirements:

Job description:

This role requires specific knowledge in designing, engineering, implementing and maintaining Data Integration systems using Informatica ETL infrastructure.

Specific job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

*             Install and Configure Informatica product suite including PowerCenter, Reference Table Manager, Metadata Manager, Data Analyzer, WebService Hub, Data Explorer, Data Quality and PowerExchange

*             Configure security  (User/Groups, Roles, File system level) per security design

*             Configure ETL infrastructure for  High Availability and Grid functionality

*             Conduct Basic Functionality and Performance testing and tune systems as required

*             Create scripts & ETL to automate migration of code between environments

Required Qualifications

*             Experienced in best practices design of ETL implementations in a highly-available high volume environment,  including  ETL software, database and hardware tuning

*             Must have 4 or more years of experience in ETL development in a very large database environment

*             Strong experience in designing and developing of mappings, transformations, sessions and workflows in Informatica PowerCenter

*             Experience in Informatica Power Exchange implementation and administration

*             Strong experience in performance tuning Informatica processing

*             Experience with data quality tools and knowledgeable in data quality approaches and techniques

*             Strong experience working with relational databases & programming concepts

*             Detailed knowledge of Data Warehouse and Data Mart physical RDBMS schemata

*             Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server,  XSLT, Web Services, J2EE

*             Experience with LDAP for authentication and authorization

*             Strong shell scripting experience

*             Strong documentation skills in writing System Design Documents, Installation/Upgrade Guides and User Guides
